I've known Photoglo as a songwriter for so long, I'd completely forgotten what a potent performer he is." — Robert Oermann, Music Row Magazine Jim Photoglo's music has been expressed in Pop, R&B and Country music through such diverse artists as James Ingram, Kenny Rogers, Faith Hill, The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Alabama, Run C&W, and, of course, Photoglo himself. But, despite the wide stylistic range of his hits, Photoglo's music really represents only one artstic voice- his own. He combines a broad musical background with an equally broad range of emotions, and the result is a unique artistry that transcends stylistic boundaries and appeals to a universal audience.Jim continues to tour solo, combining workshops with concerts at colleges, coffee houses and clubs around the country and has become a regular on the main stage of the Kerrville Folk Festival. In the Spring of 2000, he released the crically acclaimed 'Fly Straight Home' on his own Griftone Records and in 2005, another stellar effort, 'Sparks In The Radio'. He is currently working on a new project. |
